Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Bandarawela Depot TATA LP 1210/42 bus (BW 05 / 30ශ්‍රී3124) photographed in Bandarawela on 12 July 2017. This classic SLTB Type C bus, built by the Central Workshop, Ekala on a TATA LP 1210/42 chassis, was manufactured in India in 1983 and registered on 1 September 1983. The bus was originally allocated to Negombo Depot before being transferred to Bandarawela Depot, where it continued to provide reliable passenger transport for many years. At the time this photograph was taken, the bus was operating on a local service between Boralanda and Bandarawela, representing one of the long-serving TATA buses that played a significant role in Sri Lanka's public transport system during the 1980s and beyond. Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Nuwara Eliya Depot Ashok Leyland Lynx 4200 bus (NE 70 / NE-1523) in Nuwara Eliya town. The bus was added to the depot fleet in June 2023. Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Kuliyapitiya depot, Ruby bodied TATA LP 1510/52 bus (KP 43 / 63-4875) at the Kuliyapitiya bus stand. The bus acquired to Wayamba bus company the fleet in 2000. Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Embilipitiya depot, Bharat bodied Ashok Leyland Comet Minior bus (EMB 85 / GD-9895) at the Embilipitiya bus stand. The bus, fully made in India, was added to the depot fleet in 2001 and, at the time the photo was taken, it used to operate on the 'Urubokka- Embilipitiya' route under route number 168. Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Nuwara-Eliya depot, Ashok Leyland Stag bus  (NB-4046) in the depot premises. Body built by Bhagirath brothers coach builders in India. SLTB Nuwareliya depot fleet acquired four of these buses in 2011 under a special leasing scheme. This photo was taken in December 2012 while the bus was parked in the depot. Later this bus was transferred to Sri Langama Badulla depot and is currently running under that depot. By now the original appearance of the bus has changed a lot. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) නුවරඑළිය ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනය වූ, අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් ස්ටැග් වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් ඩිපෝ පරිශ්‍රයේ දී. 2011 වසරේදී කඳුකර ග්‍රාමීය මාර්ගවල ධාවනය සඳහා මෙම වර්ගයේ බස් රථ 4 ක් උපයා ගෙවීමේ පදනම මත නුවරඑළිය ඩිපෝවට ලබා දී ඇත. සම්පුර්ණයෙන්ම ඉන්දියාවේ නිමවා ඇති මෙම බස් රථ භාගිරත් බ්‍රදර කොච් බිල්ඩර්ස් සමාගම මගින් නිමවා ඇති අතර ආසන 28 කින් යුක්ත වේ. මෙම බස් රථය පසුකාලීනව ශ්‍රී ලංගම බදුල්ල ඩිපෝව වෙත මාරු කර යවා ඇති අතර දැනට එම ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනයේ පවතී. මේ වන විට රථයේ මුහුණත මුල් පෙනුම බොහෝ සෙයින් වෙනස් වී ඇත.

The body of the bus was built by the CTB Werahara central workshop and allocated for the services in 1972. This photo was taken in May 2013 while it was parked in the depot premises. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) අවිස්සාවේල්ල ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනය වූ, ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ වේරහැර මධ්‍යම වැඩපොළ යටතේ බඳ එකලස් කර 1972 වසරේ ධාවනයට එක් කරන ලද ටාටා  LP 1210/36 වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් ඩිපෝ පරිශ්‍රයේ දී. 2013 වසරේ මැයි මස ඡායාරූපය ලබාගත් අවස්ථාවේ ඩිපෝ පරිශ්‍රයේ ගාල් කොට තිබුණි. ලංගම වර්ග කිරීම් වලට අනුව D කාණ්ඩයේ බස් රථයකි.

The bus acquired to Ruhnu bus company's Tangalle depot fleet in 2001. Recently transfferd to the Bandarawela depot due to timetable requiremnets. Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Galle depot, re-bodied Ashok Leyland Comet Minor bus (GE-0155) at Mahamodara. The bus acquired to the fleet in 2000. Due to the damage caused by the Tsunami disaster in 2004, a body procured from an old bus has been grafted and repaired. This photo was taken in March 2012 while it was allocated  for the services on a local route between between Delkada and Galle.  Currently, this is used as a service vehicle. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) ගාල්ල ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනය වන, අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් කොමට් මයිනර් වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් මහමෝදර දී. සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම ඉන්දියාවේ නිමවා ඇති රථය 2000 වසරේ එවකට රුහුණු බස් සමාගම යටතේ ධාවනයට එක්වී ඇත. 2004 වසරේ ඇති වූ සුනාමි ව්‍යසනය හේතු කොට ගෙන රථයේ මුල් බඳ අබලන් වීම නිසා මෙලෙස පැරණි බස් රථයකින් සපයා ගත් බඳක් බද්ධ කොට ධාවනයට සපයා තිබුණි. 2012 වසරේ මාර්තු මස ඡායාරූපය ලබාගන්නා අවස්ථාවේ  දැල්කඩ හා ගාල්ල අතර ධාවනයට යොදවා තිබුණි. 2020 වසරේ කාර්මික සේවා රථයක් ලෙස පරිවර්ථනය කර ඇති මෙම රථය වර්තමානයේද ධාවනයේ පවතී.

Body built by Azad coach builders in India and acquired to the PTS Kandy South in 1992. Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Kirindiwela depot, ACCL bodied Ashok Leyland Viking bus (KD 34 / 61-2447) at the Kirindiwela bus stand. Acquired to the PTS fleet in 1991. It is observed that the original appearance of the bus has changed a lot in later times. This photo was taken in December 2012 while it was allocated for the services between Ranwala and Kirindiwela under route number 290.-- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) කිරිඳිවැල ඩිපෝවට අයත්,  අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් වයිකින්ග් වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් කිරිඳිවැල බස් නැවතුමේ දී. සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම ඉන්දියාවේ නිෂ්පාදිත රථයේ බඳ ACCL (Automotive Coaches & Components Ltd) සමාගම මගින් නිපදවා ඇත. එවකට ජනතා සන්තක ප්‍රවාහන සේවය යටතේ 1991 වසරේ සේවා සඳහා ඒක වී ඇත. 2012 වසරේ දෙසැම්බර් මස ඡායාරූපය ලබාගන්නා අවස්ථාවේ මාර්ග අංක 290 යටතේ රංවල හා කිරිඳිවැල අතර ධාවනයට යොදවා තිබුණි. පසුකාලීන අලුත්වැඩියාවන් වලදී රථයේ මුල් පෙනුම බොහෝ සෙයින් වෙනස් වී ඇති බව නනිරීක්‍ෂණය වේ.
