Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Bandarawela Depot TATA LP 1210/42 bus (BW 05 / 30ශ්‍රී3124) photographed in Bandarawela on 12 July 2017. This classic SLTB Type C bus, built by the Central Workshop, Ekala on a TATA LP 1210/42 chassis, was manufactured in India in 1983 and registered on 1 September 1983. The bus was originally allocated to Negombo Depot before being transferred to Bandarawela Depot, where it continued to provide reliable passenger transport for many years. At the time this photograph was taken, the bus was operating on a local service between Boralanda and Bandarawela, representing one of the long-serving TATA buses that played a significant role in Sri Lanka's public transport system during the 1980s and beyond. Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Bandarawela depot, TVS bodied Ashok Leyland Freedom luxury bus (NE-2113) at the Colombo central bus stand. The bus was obtained from Lanka Ashok Leyland PLC on temporary hire basis. Allocated for the services between Colombo and Bandarawela.This photo was taken in July 2024 while it was parked in the CBS premises. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) බණ්ඩාරවෙල ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනය වන, TVS බඳ සහිත අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් Freedom වර්ගයේ සුඛෝපොබෝගී බස් රථයක් කොළඹ මධ්‍යම බස් නැවතුම පරිශ්‍රයේ දී. රථය කොළඹ හා බණ්ඩාරවෙල අතර ධාවයනට යොදවා තිබුණි. ලංකා අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් සමාගමෙන් තාවකාලික කුලී පදනම මත ලබාගෙන ඇති බස් රථයකි. සුඛෝපබෝගී සේවා ආවරණය කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය බස් රථ වල ඇති හිඟය හේතුවෙන් මෙලෙස කුලී පදනම මත බස් රථ ලබා ගැනීමට ඩිපෝවන්ට සිදුවී ඇත. 2024 වසරේ ජූලි මස ඡායාරූපය ලබාගන්නා අවස්ථාවේ ධාවන වාරය පැමිණෙන තෙක් ගාල් කොට තිබුණි.

Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Bandarawela depot, Ashok Leyland Comet Minor modified bus (GD-9921) near the lake Richmond on the Haputhale Dambethanna road. The bus acquired to Ruhnu bus company's Tangalle depot fleet in 2001. Recently transfferd to the Bandarawela depot due to timetable requiremnets. This photo was taken in April 2024 while it was allocated for the service between Bandarawela and Dambethanna under the route number 326. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) බණ්ඩාරවෙල  ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනය වන අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් කොමට් මයිනර් වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් හපුතලේ දඹේතැන්න මාර්ගයේ ලේක් රිච්මන්ඩ් අසල දී. 2001 වසරේ ධාවනයට එක් වී ඇති රථය රුහුණු බස් සමාගමේ තංගල්ල ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනයට එක්වී ඇත. පසුකාලීන ධාවන අවශ්‍යතා මත මෙලෙස බණ්ඩාරවෙල ඩිපෝව වෙත ලබා දී ඇත. පසුකාලීන අළුත්වැඩියාවන් වලදී රථයේ මුහුණත මුල් පෙනුම වෙනස් වී ඇති බව නිරීක්‍ෂණය වේ. ඡායාරූපය ලබාගන්නා අවස්ථාවේ රථය මාර්ග අංක 326 යටතේ බණ්ඩාරවෙල සිට දඹේතැන්න බලා ධාවනය වෙමින් තිබුණි.

Rehabilitated and modified by depot workers in 2012 to celebrate the President's induction. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) බණ්ඩාරවෙල ඩිපෝවට අයත්, ලටෙක් ටාටා LP 1510/52 වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් බුත්තල කතරගම මාර්ගයේ දී. රථයේ බඳ ලටෙක් සමාගම මගින් ඩියුපල් මෙට්සෙක් තාක්ෂනය යටතේ පුද්ගලීකරණය කරන ලද වේරහැර ලංගම මධ්‍යම වැඩපොළේ දී නිමවා 2000 වසරේ එවකට ඌව බස් සමාගම යටතේ ධාවනයට එක් කර ඇත ඇත. පුද්ගලික අංශය යටතේ වේරහැර වැඩපොළේ නිම කරන ලද අවසාන බස් රථ වර්ගය මේවාය. පසුකාලීනව ධාවනයන් සීමා කර තිබියෙදී ජනාධිපතිතුමාගේ දෙවන පදවිප්‍රාප්තියේ දෙවන වසර සැමරීම නිමිත්තෙන් 2012 වසරේ දී ඩිපෝවේ සේවක පිරිස විසින් මෙලෙස පුනරුත්ථාපනය කර නැවත ධාවනයට එක් කර තිබේ.

Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB), Ruby bodied TATA LP 1510/36 bus (GE-1329) at the Bandarawela town. Allocated on a local route between Kirioruwa and Bandarawela under the route number 193/2 -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) බණ්ඩාරවෙල ඩිපෝවට අයත් රුබී බඳ සහිත ටාටා LP 1510/36 බස් රථයක් බණ්ඩාරවෙල නගරයේ දී. සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම ඉන්දියාවේ නිපදවා ඇති රථය 2000 වසරේ එවකට පොකුරු බස් සමාගම් යටතේ ධාවනයට එක්වී ඇත. ඡායාරූපය ලබාගන්නා අවස්ථාවේ මාර්ග අංක 193/2 යටතේ ග්‍රාමීය මාර්ගයක් ඔස්සේ බණ්ඩාරවෙල හා කිරිඔරුව අතර ධාවනයට යොදවා තිබුණි.
