Ceylon Transport Board (CTB / Now SLTB) Maharagama depot, (Ex London transport) Leyland RTW double decker bus (23ශ්‍රී2696) on the Highlevel road in1977 . This photo was taken while it was running under the route number 138 between Maharagama and Townhall. Even though it has been 11 years since it was put into service under the CTB, the bus is unique in its original appearance and a high state of maintenance. Photo by: John Miller. London transport ආයතනයේ භාවිතා කල මෙම රථ පසුව ලංගම සඳහා මිලදී ගෙන ඇත. Leyland වර්ගයේ තට්ටු යොදාගෙන "London Transport" ආයතනයේ පිරිවිතරයන්ට අනුව, Park Royal Vehicles Ltd මගින් බඳ නිමවා ඇති මෙම බස් රථ ලන්ඩන් නගරයට ආවේණික සංඛේතයක් බඳුය. ලංගමට ලැබුණු RT වර්ගයේ දෙමහල් බස් රථ අතරින් මෙම රථය සුවිශේෂී වී ඇත්තේ මම රථය වසර ගණනක්ම එහි මුල් පෙනුමෙන් මෙන්ම මනා නඩත්තු තත්වයකින් පැවතීම නිසාය. ධාවනයට එක්වූ දින සිටම එකම සේවක මඩුල්ලක් යටතේ රථය පැවතීම එම සුවිශේෂී බවට හේතු වී ඇත. ධාවනයට එක්වී ඇති දින සිටම මාර්ග අංක 138 ආවරණය කර ඇති මෙම රථය මුල් අවධියේ බොරලැස්ගමුව - නුගේගොඩ බාලිකා පාසල් බස් රථය ලෙස සේවා සලසා ඇත. රථයේ අවසාන කාල සීමාවේ මාර්ග අංක 112 යටතේ ද ධාවනය වී ඇති බව සැලයි. කෙසේ නමුත් 1980 දශකයේ අග භාගයේ මේම බස් රථය ආන්දෝලනාත්මක ලෙස ධාවන තත්වයේ තිබියේදීම වෙන්දේසි කොට ඇති අතර රථය පිලිබඳ  එවකට පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ පවා කථිකා වී ඇත. අවාසනාවට මෙන් වත්මන් ශ්‍රී ලංගම සතුව මෙම වර්ගයේ එක් බස් රථයක් හෝ නොමැත. අවිධ්මත් ලෙස වෙන්දේසි නොකිරුණි නම්, අද වන විට ලංගම දෙමහල් බස් රථ වංශකතාවේ අපූරු නියෝජනයක් වීමට මෙම රථයට හැකියාව තිබෙන්නට ඇත. ඡායාරූපය: John Miller. උපුටා ගැනීම: "Sri Lankan Buses - Past & Present" නම් ග්‍රන්ථයෙනි. ප්‍රකාශනය:buses worldwide. තොරතුරු සැපයීම: ප්‍රේම් පෙරේරා මහතා

Sri Lanka Transport Board (Srilangama) Negombo depot, AEC Routemaster Double-decker bus (NB 30 / 60ශ්‍රී6625) at Negombo in 1990. Acquired to the Srilangama fleet in 1988 as an aid by the United Kingdom. Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Maharagama depot ex London Transport Routemaster double-decker bus (MH 48 / 60ශ්‍රී6605) in the depot premises. Body built by Park Royal Vehicles. Acquired to the Srilangama fleet in 1988 as an aid by the United Kingdom. At the time of taking the photo in February 2013, the bus was parked in the engineering section of the depot for repairs. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) මහරගම ඩිපෝවට අයත් රූට්මාස්ටර් වර්ගයේ තට්ටු දෙකේ බස් රථයක් ඩිපෝ පරිශ්‍රයේ දී. සම්පූර්ණයේම එංගලන්තයේ නිෂ්පාදිත මෙම බස් රථ මුල් කාලීනව ලන්ඩන් ට්‍රාන්ස්පෝර්ට් යටතේ (ex London Transport) සේවය සපයා පසුව ආධාරයක් වශයෙන් 1988 වසරේ ශ්‍රීලංගම හා එක්වී ඇත.  ඒ යටතේ මෙම වර්ගයේ බස් රථ 50 ක් ලංගමට ලැබී ඇත. මෙම බස් රථයක මගීන් 64 දෙනෙකුට ගමන් පහසුව සලසාගත හැක. 2013 වසරේ පෙබරවාරි මස ඡායාරූප ලබාගන්නා අවස්ථාවේ අලුත්වැඩියා කටයුතු වෙනුවෙන් ඩිපෝ ඉංජිනේරු අංශයට ගෙනැවිත් තිබුණු අතර ඉතා ඉක්මනින් ධාවනයට සැපයීමට නියමිත බව ඩිපෝ ඉංජිනේරුතුමන් අප සමඟ පැවසීය.

Later, this bus was repaired and under the year-end repair project of 2020, it has been repaired and made operational. The photo was taken while it was parked near the Galle face green in Colombo under the year-end repair project. After the relevant repairs, the bus was used for temporary coverage of the Route No. 122.-- පසුකාලීනව මෙම බස් රථය අලුත්වැඩියා කර ධාවනයට සැපයූ අතර 2020 වසරේ දී වර්ෂ අවසාන පුනරුත්ථාපන ව්‍යාපෘතිය යටතේ ද අලුත්වැඩියා කර ධාවනයට සපයන ලදී. 2020 වසරේ දෙසැම්බර් මස ඡායාරූපය ලබාගන්නා අවස්ථාවේ අලුත්වැඩියාවෙන් පසු කොළඹ ගාළුමුවදොර පිටිය අසල ප්‍රදර්ශනය වෙනුවෙන් නවතා තිබුණි. අදාළ අළුත්වැඩියාවන්ගෙන් පසු බස් රථය මාර්ග අංක 122 යටතේ අවිස්සාවේල්ල හා මහරගම අතර තාවකාලික ගමන්වාර ආවරණය වෙනුවෙන් යොදවා තිබුණි.
