Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Horowpothana Depot Ashok Leyland Viking 222 Hino Power bus (HP 21 / NA-3474) photographed in Horowpothana town on 28 July 2026. This bus was fully manufactured in India and was acquired by Horowpothana Depot in 2006. At the time of this photograph, the bus was operating a local service from Kiwlekada to Anuradhapura via Horowpothana. The bus is painted in the distinctive yellow colour scheme used for buses assigned to school transport services under the Sisu Seriya programme. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ හොරොව්පොතාන ඩිපෝවට අයත් අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් වයිකින්ග් වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් 2026 ජූලි මස 28 දින හොරොව්පොතාන නගරයේ දී. සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම ඉන්දියාවේ නිමවා ඇති රථය 2006 වසරේ ධාවනයට එක් වී ඇත. ඡායාරූපය ලබාගන්නා අවස්ථාවේ කිව්ලේකඩ සිට අනුරාධපුර බලා ධාවනය වෙමින් තිබුණි. සිසු සැරිය වැඩසටහන යටතේ පාසල් ප්‍රවාහන සේවා සඳහා යොදවා ඇති බස් රථ සඳහා භාවිතා කරන සුවිශේෂී කහ පැහැති වර්ණ පටිපාටියෙන් බස් රථය වර්ණාලේප කර ඇත.

Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Horowpothana depot, 54 seater Ashok Leyland Viking 210 bus (HP 41 / NA-8882) at Trincomalee bus stand. The bus acquired to the SLTB Horowpothana depot fleet in 2011. This photo was taken in September 2023 while it was allocated for the services between Anuradhapura and Trincomalee under route bumber 835. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) හොරොව්පොතාන ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනය වන ආසන 54 කින් යුත් අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් වයිකින්ග් 210 වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් ත්‍රීකුණාමලය බස් නැවතුමේ දී. 2011 වසරේදී, උපයා ගෙවීමේ පදනම මත ඩිපෝවට ලබා දී  ඇති රථය සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම ඉන්දියාවේ දී නිමවා ඇත. 2023 වසරේ සැප්තැම්බර් මස ඡායාරූපය ලබාගන්නා අවස්ථාවේ රථය අනුරාධපුර හා  ත්‍රීකුණාමලය අතර ධාවනයට යොදවා තිබුණේ මාර්ග අංක 835 යටතේය.

This photo was taken in January 2023 while it was allocated for the services between Horowpothana and Colombo under route bumber 57. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) හොරොව්පොතාන ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනය වන ආසන 54 කින් යුත් අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් වයිකින්ග් 210 වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් පෑලියගොඩ නව කැළණි පාළම මත දී. 2014 වසරේ ඩිපෝවට ලැබී ඇති රථය සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම ඉන්දියාවේ දී නිමවා ඇත. බස් රථ 2200 ව්‍යාපෘතිය යටතේ ශ්‍රී ලංගම රථ ඇණිය හා එක් වූ බස් රථයකි. 2023 වසරේ ජනවාරි මස ඡායාරූපය ලබාගන්නා අවස්ථාවේ රථය හොරොව්පොතාන සිට කොළඹ බලා ධාවනය වෙමින් තිබුණේ මාර්ග අංක 57 යටතේය.

Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Horowpothana depot, Ashok Leyland Viking 193 Hinopower bus (HP 15 / NA-1120) at the Galle face green. The bus acquired to the SLTB fleet in 2005. Rehabilitated by the depot workers under the 2020 year-end special rehabilitation project. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) හොරොව්පොතාන ඩිපෝවට අයත්, අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් වයිකින්ග් 193 වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් කොළඹ ගාළු මුවදොර පිටිය අසල දී. සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම ඉන්දියාවේ නිමවා ඇති රථය 2005 වසරේ ශ්‍රී ලංගම රථ ඇණිය හා එක්වී ඇත. මෑත කාලීනව ධාවනයන් සීමා වී තිබී ඇති බස් රථය, මෙලෙස බස් ජනසතු දිනයට සමගාමීව වසර අවසානයේ පැවැත්වෙන පුනරුත්ථාපන ව්‍යාපෘතිය යටතේ පූර්ණ අලුත්වැඩියාවකට ලක් කර 2020 වසරේ දෙසැම්බර් 31 දින මෙලෙස සංඛේතාත්මකව ධාවනයට එක් කර තිබේ.

Ltd (Government owned / SLTB Central workshop Ekala, Ja-ela). -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලංගම) හොරොව්පොතාන ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනය වන අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් වයිකින්ග් Hino Power වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් අනුරාධපුර බස් නැවතුමේ දී. මෙහි බඳ, ඒකල ලක්දිව ඉංජිනේරු සමාගම (රාජසන්තක / ශ්‍රී ලංගම මධ්‍යම වැඩපොළ, ඒකල, ජා-ඇල) විසින් පුර්ණ බඳ (body) අලුත්වැඩියාවකට ලක් කර නැවත මෙලෙස ජනතා සේවයට යොදවා ඇත. රථය මාර්ග අංක 835/1 යටතේ අනුරාධපුර හා හොරොව්පොතාන අතර ධාවනයට යොදවා තිබුණි.

Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Horowpothana depot, Ashok Leyland Lynx D type bus (HP 64 / NB-5678) in Colombo with an Army special duty. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) හොරොව්පොතාන ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනය වන අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් Lynx වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් කොළඹ දී. යුධ හමුදා විශේෂ රාජකාරියකට පැමිණි අවස්ථාවකි. 2013 වසරේ ධාවනයට එක් වූ බස් රථයකි.

Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Horowpothana depot, Wesco TATA LPO 1313/55 bus (HP 16 / 62-5098) at Katharagama. Body built by the Wesco (Werahara Engineering Services Corporation) with Duple Metsec (UK). Rehabilitated in 2012 by the depot workers to celebrate the President's induction. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) හොරොව්පොතාන ඩිපෝවට අයත් වෙස්කෝ ටාටා LPO 1313/55 වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් කතරගම ශ්‍රී ලංගම විශ්‍රාම ශාලා භූමියේ දී. මම බස් රථ වල බඳ වෙස්කෝ සමාගම මගින් බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය ඩියුපල් මෙට්සෙක් තාක්ෂනය යටතේ පුද්ගලීකරණය කරන ලද ලංගම වේරහැර මධ්‍යම වැඩපොළේ දී එකලස් කර ඇත. ධාවනයෙන් ඉවත්ව තිබී ඇති මෙම බස් රථය ජනාධිපතිතුමාගේ දෙවන පදවිප්‍රාප්තියේ දෙවන වසර සැමරීම නිමිත්තෙන් 2012 වසරේ දී හොරොව්පොතාන ඩිපෝවේ සේවක පිරිස විසින් මෙලෙස පුනරුත්ථාපනය කර නැවත ධාවනයට එක් කර තිබේ. ප්‍රධාන ලාම්පු සහ පැති ජනේල වල පැත්ත පමණක් මුල් පෙනුමෙන් වෙනස් වී ඇති බව නිරීක්‍ෂණය වේ.
