Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Kappetipola DTS, Mercedes-Benz LP 322/42 bus, featuring a body built by the Werahera Workshop, photographed at the Kappetipola Depot on 28 November 2013. The bus was originally acquired by the CTB Badulla Depot in 1963 and was later transferred to Kappetipola Depot in the early 1980s. Following its transfer, it was allocated to passenger services between Nuwara Eliya and Badulla. After a relatively short period in regular passenger service, the bus was transferred to the Driver Training School, where it was used for driver training purposes. By the time of this photograph, the bus had undergone several repairs and modifications. The front section had been altered considerably, giving it an appearance resembling a TATA bus, particularly around the front fascia. Despite these modifications, the vehicle remains an interesting example of an early Mercedes-Benz bus operated by the CTB and later retained for training purposes. -- ශ්රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්රී ලං.ග.ම.) කැප්පෙටිපොල ඩිපෝවේ රියදුරු අභ්යාස විද්යාලයට අයත්, ලංගම බඳ සහිත මර්සිඩීස්-බෙන්ස් LP 322/42 වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් ඩිපෝ පරිශ්රයේ දී. 1963 වසරේ ලංගම බදුල්ල ඩිපෝව හා එකතු වී ඇති රථයේ බඳ ලංගම වේරහැර මධ්යම වැඩපොළේ දී එකලස් කර ඇත. පසුව 1980 දශකයේ මුල් භාගයේ කැප්පෙටිපොල ඩිපෝව වෙත ලැබී ඇති රථය බදුල්ල හා නුවරඑළිය අතර ධාවනයට යෙදවී ඇත. පසුව ඩිපෝවේ රියදුරු අභ්යාස විද්යලය වෙත මෙලෙස ලබාදී ඇත. රථයේ පසුකාලීනව සිදුව ඇති අලුත්වැඩියාවන් නිසා එහි මුල් මර්සිඩීස්-බෙන්ස් පෙනුම සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම පාහේ වෙනස් වී ඇති අතර ටාටා බස් රථයක මුහුණුවරක් ලැබී ඇත.
