New ALMA (wide) bodied Ashok Leyland Viking Turbo bus from SLTB Maharagama depot

Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Maharagama depot, Alma (wide) bodied Ashok Leyland Viking Turbo bus (MH 110 / NC-9541) in the depot premises. Acquired to the depot in June 2017 under a leasing scheme. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) මහරගම ඩිපෝවට, උපයා ගෙවීමේ පදනම මත අලුතින් මිලදී ගත් අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් වයිකින්ග් ටර්බෝ පළල් ඇල්මා බඳ සහිත බස් රථයක් ඩිපෝ පරිශ්‍රයේ දී. සාමාන්‍ය අශෝක් ලේලන්ඩ් වයිකින්ග් බස් රථයකට වඩා පළලින් වැඩි බඳක් සහිත මෙම බස් රථ වල ආසන වල පළලද වැඩිය. 2X2 ආසන සැකැස්මට ශ්‍රී ලංගම මගින් ඉල්ලුම් කර තිබේ.  ක්‍රය ශක්තිය සහිත ඩිපෝවන් සඳහා, ධාවන අවශ්‍යතාවය මත මෙම බස් රථ මිලදී ගැනීම සඳහා ප්‍රධාන කාර්යාලය මගින් අවසර ලබා දී ඇත. ඒ අනුව මහරගම ඩිපෝව මගින් බස් රථ 04ක් මිලදී ගෙන ඇති අතර හැටන් ඩිපෝව 10ක්, නුවරඑළිය ඩිපෝව 04ක් ආදී වශයෙන් මේ වන විට මිලදී ගෙන ඇත. ම.බ.ක. ඩිපෝව සඳහා බස් රථ 04ක් මිලට ගැනීමට නියමිත බව ලංගම ආරංචිමාර්ග සඳහන් කරයි. මහරගම ඩිපෝව මගින් මාතලේ, අනුරාධපුර, මඩකලපුව ඇතුළු ගමනාන්ත සඳහා නව බස් සේවා 04ක් ආරම්භ කිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වන බව ඩිපෝ කළමනාකාරතුමා අප සමඟ පැවසීය.

    The passenger seats also looks bit wider. So must be more comfortable. I notice that SLTB services have improved a lot after these leasing buses have come. So as a strategy it seems good. The busses from the 2200 project are also on leasing basis isn't it?

      It's a Telephone. Something related to the GPS system of the SLTB.

    මට දවසක් මේ බස් එකක කොළඹ ඉදන් මහරගම ට එන්න හම්බවුනා. සුපිරි බස් වර්ගයක්.
    හැබැයි මහරගම ඩිපෝවේ මඩකළපුව බස් එක ගියේ නම් සතියක් විතර. ඊට පස්සේ ඒක නැවැත්තුවා. දැන් ඒක නෑ. ආපහු පටන්ගන්නවා නම් වටිනවා.
