ECW bodied Leyland Fleetline double decker bus from SLTB Ratmalana depot

Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Rathmalana depot, ECW bodied Leyland Fleetline double-decker bus (RL 61 / NA-0781) plying on the Galle road under the route number 100 near the Milagiriya Junction. Aquired in 2005 in SLTB service. -- ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.) රත්මලාන ඩිපෝවට යටතේ ධාවනය වන, ECW බඳ සහිත ලේලන්ඩ් ෆ්ලීට්ලයින් වර්ගයේ තට්ටු දෙකේ බස් රථයක් මාර්ග අංක 100 යටතේ ධාවනය වන අවස්ථාවක ගාලු පාරේ මිලාගිරිය මංසන්ධිය අසල දී. සම්පුර්ණයෙන්ම එංගලන්තයේ නිපදවා ඇති මෙම බස් රථ 2005 වසරේ බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය ආධාර ලෙස ශ්‍රී ලං.ග.ම.ට ලැබී ඇත.

    මෙම බස් රථය 2005 වර්ෂයේ දී මෙරටට ගෙන්වුවත් මෙහි නිශ්පාදිත වර්ෂය කලකට ඉහත විය යුතුයි. නමුත් 50 දශකයේ සිට 80 දශකය වන තෙක් නිශ්පාදනය කරනු ලැබු ඇට්න්ටියන් බස් රථ අතර එතරම් වෙනසක් නෑ.

    Hi Uthpala ....Congrats.Very good photos. Infact I too got some shots of this bus. I think the number is NA 781 and if I am not mistaken it is a Leyland Fleetline. These are newer than the Atlantean AN 68 and originated from the Daimler Fleetline from the Daimler Bus company in UK which was taken over by British Leyland in a merger.
    Ratmalana Depot had an Atlantean but I have not seen it more than a couple of time which was years ago where as 781 is still in service.

    Can anyone tell me what became of the five former Translink Ulsterbus Leyland Leopards which were shipped to Sri Lanka with the Leyland Fleetline shown here and the former Edinburgh Atlantean.......
