CTB bodied Leyland Comet from SLCTB Moratuwa depot

    This Leyland Power Plus 13C6RP belonged to Moratuwa Depot.Ratmalana had a 34 of these buses.There registration numbers were in 23 -2200 2900 3700 3800 & 3900 serires.This is 23-3784 of MR and RL had only one in 37 series which was 23-3789 which use to operate to Kataragama Route no 32.This had 3 X 2 seat lay out.Last of the 39 series which is 23-3929 is still used at Horana Depot as a supplies wagon.This was RL51 among the fleet in 1980.

      Horana had 23-3777,23-3781(converted to a half lorry),23-3795,23-3804,23-3831,23-3833,23-3841,later 23-3929

      Dear Lal

      Have you got images (photagraphs) of any of these Leyland Power Plus buses that you have mentioned numbers ? Are these the only 13C6RP buses that were at Horana Depot ? Also if you can indicate the time period.I assume this would be between 1978 and 1985.

    මෙම බස් රථයේ පිටුපස දොරටුව අසල ඇති, තහඩුවක් මත පින්තාරු කරන ලද වෙළඳ දැන්වීම මහරගම ඩිපෝවේ බස් රථවලත් සවිකර තිබුණා මට මතක යි. එහි සඳහන් වූයේ "නෙස්ටොමෝල්ට් - ඔබේ ජීවිතයට සරිලන පානය" යන්න යි. නෙස්ටොමෝල්ට් ටින් දෙකක් ද එහි ඇඳ තිබුණා.
