Classic Mercedes-Benz LP311/36 bus from CTB Ratnapura depot

Ceylon Transport Board (CTB / now SLTB) Ratnapura depot, classic Mercedes-Benz LP 311/36 bus plying on a rural route at Embilipitiya area in 1969. (The photo is copyright to the respective photographer) -- ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ (ලං.ග.ම) රත්නපුර ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනය වූ පැරණි මර්සිඩීස්-බෙන්ස්  LP 311/36 වර්ගයේ බස් රථයක් 1969 වසරේ ඇඹිලිපිටිය ප්‍රදේශයේ ග්‍රාමීය මාර්ගයක ධාවනය වෙමින්. ජර්මනියෙන් ආනයනය කල මර්සිඩීස්-බෙන්ස්  LP 311/36 තට්ටුවක් මත ලංගම මධ්‍යම වැඩපොළවලදී බඳ සකසා මෙම බස් රථ ධාවනයට එක් කර ඇත. (ඡායාරූපයේ අයිතිය එහි මුල් ඡායාරූප ශිල්පියා සතුය)

    මේක 911 එකක් නෙමෙයි.911 මොඩ්ල් එකේ බේස් එක Lසීරීස් ට්‍රක් චෙසිය.ඒක ඇවිල්ලා Cab after engine ක්‍රමයට තියෙන්නේ.පරන 911 ලොරි බලන්න ඉස්සරහ හොම්බක් තියනවා.මේක මට හිතෙන්නේ 312 හෝ 321/322 එකක්.එහෙම නැතිනම් 1113 A ට්යිප් එකක් වෙන්නත් පුලුවන්.නොම්බරය 22 ශ්‍රී ද 23 ද කියල පේනවද?

    This is a Benz made in India. Not a 911 or 1113. There were few of these buses in early sixties. Registration was 23 Sri 2000 series.This is the model which became Telco and Tata later.
