Jay bodied TATA LP 1210/52 bus from SLTB Kandy South depot

Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB)  Kandy South depot, Jay bodied Tata LP 1210/52 bus (61-5053) in the depot premises. The bus, which was launched in 1992 under the then PTS Kalutara (Peoplized Transport Service), is made entirely in India. The body of the bus is manufactured by Jay coach builders. Later, this bus has been used as a staff transport bus at Ekala Lakdiwa workshop and has been given to Kandy South depot in 2022 based on passenger service requirements. At the time of taking the photograph in October 2022, the bus was ready to run from Kandy to Pilimathalawa.
