Colombo Metropolitan Bus company (CMBC / Now SLTB) Mattakkuliya depot, Wesco ISUZU MT112 luxury bus (MK 132 / 62-5642) in the depot premises with the launching ceremony in 1997. Body built by Wesco (Werahera Engineering Services Co) with Duple Metsec (UK) Ltd. The photo is copyright to the respective photographer -- කලම්බෝ මොට්‍රෝපොලිටන් බස් සමාගමේ (ක. මේ. බ. ක. / වත්මන් ශ්‍රී ලං. ග. ම.) මට්ටක්කුලිය ඩිපෝව යටතේ ධාවනය වූ වෙස්කො ඉසුසූ MT 112 වර්ගයේ සුඛෝපභෝගී බස් රථයක් ඩිපෝ පරිශ්‍රයේ දී සිය මංගල ගමනට සූදානම්ව. ජපානයෙන් ආනයනය කරන ලද ඉසූසු MT112 වර්ගයේ තට්ටුවකට වෙස්කෝ සමාගම (වේරහැර ඉංජිනියරින් කෝපරේෂන් හෙවත් පුද්ගලීකරණය කරන ලද ලංගම වේරහැර මධ්‍යම වැඩපොළ) හා බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය ඩියුපල් මෙට්සෙක් සමාගම මගින් මෙරටදී බඳ සැකසා 1997 වසරේ ධාවනයට එක් කර ඇති මෙම බස් රථය වායුසමනය කල සුඛෝපභෝගී බස් රථ ලෙස ධාවනයට එක් වී ඇත. එහෙත් පසු කාලීනව වායුසමන යන්ත්‍ර අක්‍රීය වීමත් සමග නැවත සාමාන්‍ය සේවා සඳහා යෙදවූ බව සැලයි. ඡායාරූපයේ අයිතිය එහි මුල් ඡායාරූප ශිල්පියා සතුය.
I Remember this bus. I was working at Mattakkuliya during this time and used to see this bus regularly in the mornings. Really nice bus, much better than the Ashok Leyland buses operating on the highways. Unfortunately a few months later there was a strike at the Mattakkuliya Depot. The Depot was shut down and a number of buses including this bus were removed and handed over to other depots. Never saw it again, until today.
